Partner of Australian Missing in Nepal Presses Tech Firms for Access to Data The devastating floods that ravaged Nepal's Himalayan region have left over 4,200 people missing, including hundreds of foreign nationals and 38 Australians.
Among the missing is Rishab Iyer, a medical student from Australia whose partner, Sarada Viswanathan, has been trying to obtain location data from tech companies.
Viswanathan has been pleading with Apple, Optus, and Life360 for access to data that could help narrow the search areas for rescue teams.
