The data, which spans from 2017 to 2020, shows a significant increase in detention numbers compared to previous administrations.

Detention numbers have surpassed those recorded over the entirety of Barack Obama's two terms, with approximately 664,000 individuals detained during Trump's first term, versus 723,000 under Obama.
