However, as we move forward, efficiency and accountability must be prioritized.

The absence of regulation has been a major factor in delivery robots’ problems. Until now, many areas have had little to no guidelines governing their usage – some have even treated them as pedestrians under local law. But that’s starting to change. As cities impose restrictions and bans, we can expect more legislation focused on accessibility, noise pollution, and the impact of these robots on workers.
